Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Novera operates Novera. For questions about your privacy or to use any of your rights, contact us at menahekuran@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a password, which we store only as a one-way hash, never in readable form.
• Your business records: the business profile you enter and everything you record in the Service, such as customers and their contact details, leads, quotes, jobs, invoices, payments, tasks, notes and your logo.
• Technical information: standard server logs (such as IP address, the page requested, time and error details) used to keep the Service secure and working.
• Our contact with you: messages you send us, and the emails the Service sends you.

3. Your customers' information

The personal information about your own customers that you enter into the Service is yours. For that information you decide why and how it is used, and we act on your behalf: we process it only to provide the Service to you and do not use it for our own purposes.

4. How we use information

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

• To provide and secure the Service, including showing you summaries and insights calculated from your own records.
• To create and manage your account, and to arrange and administer your subscription.
• To send messages needed to run your account (for example a password reset) and emails you ask the Service to send.
• To respond to support requests, fix problems and meet legal obligations.

5. Cookies

The Service sets one cookie: a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner to accept.

6. Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers to run the Service. They process information only for that purpose:

• Hosting: Render hosts the application servers.
• Database: Supabase hosts the database (PostgreSQL) where your account and business records are stored.
• Email delivery: Resend delivers the emails the Service sends (quotes, invoices, password resets). They receive the recipient address, subject and content of each email.

7. Where information is processed

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your account and business records while your account exists, so you can come back to them. When you ask us to delete your account we delete your records; copies in our database provider's backups are retained by them for up to 7 days and then expire. We may keep limited information where the law requires it.

9. How we protect it

Traffic to the Service is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Each business can see only its own data, and we restrict who at our end can access systems. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how it is used, and you can withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email menahekuran@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are one of your business's customers and want to see or remove information about you, please contact that business directly; we act on its behalf.

11. Children

Novera is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
